The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) are the strongest militant nationalists and fiercest terrorist group in Sri Lanka. They are fighting for an independent Tamil nation and are famous for their aggressive use of suicide terrorism. The LTTE has grown into a transnational network and poses a significant threat to international security that has been poorly assessed and inadequately addressed. Policy recommendations are made regarding the LTTE’s suicide terrorism campaign and its global terror network
